Tammy has been coaching gymnastics on Long Island for over 25 years. She has helped over 50 athletes reach their goals, securing full athletic scholarships to attend Universities throughout the United States. Her dedication and passion for the sport of gymnastics has led her to opening her own gymnastics facility in the summer of 2016 and in two short years has built a thriving program with Infiniti Elite. Tammy believes in achieving excellence in all she does as well as inspires excellence in others.

As an accomplished gymnast herself Tammy Marshall, while at Hicksville High School, was County, State and National Champion. As an Elite Gymnast she was a US National Team Member and competed Internationally representing the United States earning a silver medal on Floor at the 1993 World University Games. Culminating her Junior Olympic career she earned a full athletic gymnastics scholarship to attend the University of Massachusetts in Amherst where she studied Sports Management with a minor in Child Psychology. Tammy earned a Bachelor’s Degree graduating with a 3.9 GPA as a 12 time Academic All American. Tammy’s accolades as a collegiate athlete include becoming a 2 time NCAA National Champion on Vault and Floor Exercise where she earned a perfect 10.0 score. As a senior at the University of Massachusetts Tammy received the prestigious AAI Award equivalent to the Heisman Trophy, voted on by collegiate coaches around the country and given to an outstanding Senior Gymnast..Tammy represented her University proudly and went on to be inducted into the University of Massachusetts Hall Of Fame in 2003.

After college, Tammy has taken her years of experience as an accomplished student-athlete and directed it towards coaching her athletes to reach their full potentials. Early on in her coaching career she began judging and over the years has earned an International Brevet Judges rating. Tammy has directed a staff and run a team program of over 60 athletes, from Levels 4-10, Her expertise as a coach has been proven by producing many State, Regional and National Champions. Tammy has taken several athletes to National Training Camps throughout the years and worked alongside our US National Staff. Infiniti Elite is the only Long Island gym to have a gymnast compete at the 2016 Secret Classic, our own Jayden McDonnell competed in the same competition as our US Olympians Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas, Madison Kocian and Laurie Hernandez. Her teammate, Nicole Riccardi competed at another prestigious event with the Nations top Level 10 gymnasts at the 2017 Nastia Liukin Cup. This past year 2017-2018 Tammy qualified 10 gymnasts to the Level 10 Junior Olympic Nationals held in Cincinnati, Ohio and 15 gymnasts to the Level 9 Eastern Nationals held in Rochester, NY.
